Missing Horse Finder

I received this in an email and thought it might interest the club.

NetPosse.com Idaho Alert - GA - RECOVERED! Black TWH Mare - Bartow County - April 7, 2008

It's been almost 4 months, and Star is finally home!

Though her owners do not know if she was stolen or not, nor where she was for most of this time ... she was only three miles from home when her owners received the good news.

How many other missing horses have been found but no one knows where they belong?

Download flyer and get more info here:

NetPosse.com Stolen Horse Alerts for Stolen/Missing Horses and more ... A stolen horse could be a long distance in a short time period. Please pass this to your associations, list groups, council members, friends and ask them to do the same. If you put information on your website please link the info to NetPosse.com. SHI will be updating information and has the only flyer ready to print and post for those who want to help. The Internet is great for spreading the word but success stories show that most horse are found from a flyer. Thank you very much for your generosity in helping these victims. -- Debi Metcalfe , President--Stolen Horse International.

April 2008 Newsletter

Hello Everyone,

Spring is near and I hope riding weather!! Don’t forget, April 11-13 camping and riding at Jake Mt. Call Barbara Kissling for more details.

Next meeting is April 10th at the bank. We will tell everyone where the family ride will be for that weekend. We will be handing out your St. Jude forms so you can be collecting pledges. April 26th at Standing Indian, starting at 11 am. Please plan to be there!!

I have had a time getting the logo to the tee shirt man, so the delay is from my end. I will try very hard to get it to him this week.

It would be nice to have a club formed camp out some time soon; we have so many neat places to camp and ride all around us. Let’s talk about this at the next meeting.

If any of you have problems with rain rot I will pass along a treatment Betty Weir gave me that works real well.

I hear the tee shirts may be ready for the April meeting. So be there to get yours.

The equine dentist is coming to town this month, April 7&8 at the Kisslings farm. If you want to float your horse’s teeth let me know.

I don’t know who our speaker is this month, but come and see our secret speaker!!!

I’m still looking for articles to add to the newsletter!!

Happy Trails, Esther
